artists from generation to generation. The Biographical Literature launches a
special subject entitled Kun Opera: National and Worldwide, inviting five
writers including Zhang Beile, Liu Qingqing, Zhu Jinhua, Jiang Ji, and Han
Yutao to tell readers about the artistic life of the senior Kun Opera performing
artists Cai Zhengren, Hou Shaokui, Zhang Jingxian, Liu Jiyan and Yao Jisun.
Chinese Photographers Li Jin: Spend 40 Chinese New Years in Rural China

In the 1970s and 1980s, the photographs about rural reform taken by Li Jin, a
reporter of the Xinhua News Agency, attracted attention as mass adoption by
the People鈥檚 Daily and other media. During the 40 years from 1978 to 2018,
Li Jin spent 39 Chinese New Years in rural. The Chinese Photographers
selected some texts and pictures of his new book New Year and made a brief
interview in Issue 2.
The Dance Carpet Mentioned in Bai Juyi鈥檚 Poems
The dance carpet in Bai Juyi鈥檚 poems is a necessary dance prop for Hu
Dance in the Tang Dynasty. Since the period of Kaiyuan and Tianbao in the
Tang Dynasty, the dance carpet had prevailed in Chang鈥檃n, and later was
popular in Huteng Dance, Huxuan and Zhezhi Dance all over China, and
dancing on a small round carpet became one of the important symbols.
