Recommendations on the New
Development of Culture and Tourism
As part of the Special Event, an international symposium 鈻?Site of the Harmony between Humanity and Nature鈥擝eautiful China
was held at Pan Pacific Suzhou Hotel on the afternoon of Photo Exhibition
May 17, with the theme of New Trend of Tourism and
New Impetus of Culture. More than 150 distinguished
guests attended the symposium, including Chinese
cultural and tourist experts and scholars, social activists,
foreign envoys to China and representatives of tourist
agencies, as well as relevant media representatives. They
discussed topics such as the opportunities and challenges
of the integration of culture and tourism in the new era.

The functions of the Headquarters of China Culture
Center have been performed since 2017 by the Network Facilities, Ministry of Culture and Tourism. During
of International Culturalink Entities and the Center for May 17 to 18 and 19 to 20, they carried out investigations

of Suzhou Municipality and of Longquan Municipality,
Site of the NICE Choice 鈥?Cultural Creative Exhibition Zhejiang Province, focusing on pushing forward the
excellent cultural products going outside and attracting
overseas travelers coming inside to further promote
cultural trade development.
A significant achievement was realized in the investiga-
tion, i.e., the Strategic Cooperation Agreement jointly
signed by the Network of International Culturalink
Entities and the People鈥檚 Government of Longquan
Municipality. It is the first agreement of this type signed
with local government since the Network of Interna-
tional Culturalink Entities performed the function of
headquarters, which is of milestone significance.
